Neighborhood Solidarity
Better Together
Solidarity Means:
Listening to our Community Parents and Kids and Responding Together for a Better Future.
After political assassinations and the murder and mayhem at Annunciation Church and School, the state legislature still could not manage to come together for a special session to address gun violence.
But below the surface, a solidarity movement is building. I have been listening to and gathering with the individuals and groups that are doing the work. I am running for State Representative to take what we are hearing and turn it into legislation that supports the future the community wants to see.
Our community wants:
1) Safe Places to Live, Work and Play
2) Health Resources for All Community Members
3) Support for Active Neighborhoods that Enrich Community with Arts, Education, Libraries and Community Centers
4) Public-Private-Labor Partnerships and Investments that Encourage Fair, Livable Wages and Justifiable Community Pride
